Jax Holster Maker started the same way a lot of good things do—by not giving up.

I originally got into leather work and t-shirt design, but neither really took off the way I had hoped. Still, I stuck with it. I’ve always enjoyed building things and figuring problems out, so I kept pushing forward.

Then I ran into a problem of my own—I had a firearm with a light on it and couldn’t find a holster that fit right without spending a fortune. That didn’t sit well with me, so I decided to figure it out myself.

After a lot of research, trial and error, and a few failed attempts, I finally made one that worked. That’s when things clicked.

From there, I went down the rabbit hole—different materials, colors, clips, retention setups, light compatibility—you name it. What started as solving my own problem quickly turned into a passion. As I picked up more firearms, I needed more holsters, and each one got better than the last.

Eventually, someone said, “Why aren’t you selling these?”

That was the start of Jax Holster Maker.

Today, I build custom and everyday-carry holsters designed around your exact setup—whether that’s a basic configuration or a fully customized build with optics, lights, and unique color combinations. Every holster is made with attention to detail, durability, and real-world use in mind.
